KingsOak ensures first impressions last with Diamond Matt

KingsOak Homes has specified Dulux Trade Diamond Matt for its new home developments, in order to maintain that newly painted look for longer in communal areas and kitchens.

Dulux Trade Diamond Matt is more than ten times tougher than conventional vinyl matt and can be scrubbed clean to remove scuffs and marks, without affecting the matt finish. Also, by using Diamond Matt, maintenance cycles can typically be increased from two to five years - significantly reducing life cycle costs.

Ian Sneddon, Technical Director for the Southampton division of KingsOak Homes, said, “We believe our new homes combine distinctive design, high specifications, craftsmanship and attention to detail. Whatever the property, we set out to provide the highest standards, and using Dulux Trade Diamond Matt is a good example of this.

“We are using Diamond Matt in high traffic communal areas as we recognise how important maintaining that ‘just painted’ look is to our buyers, as these areas are the first impression any visitor will get of their home. Diamond Matt is also ideal for kitchens as it’s wipe clean in a matt finish, which is much more in line with the current trend and our customers’ preferences.”

KingsOak Homes provides new homes for all kinds of buyers, from affordable starter homes and townhouses to millionaires' mansions. Operating throughout England, the company has an established network of seven divisions and more than 80 developments.
