Dulux Trade creates light and space in windowless bedroom
Located in the heart of Birmingham, the nitenite™ hotel offers chic but comfort-conscious interiors and a perfect location to explore the city. Most interestingly, the design of this hotel is unique, in that the bedrooms have no windows.
When nitenite™ city hotels was looking for a decorating solution suitable for use in all 104 bedrooms at its Birmingham hotel, the company turned to Dulux Trade to provide the perfect product for the job. Dulux Trade recommended its revolutionary Diamond Matt Light & Space paint.
Light & Space from Dulux Trade makes rooms look and feel more spacious using groundbreaking Lumitec paint technology. Light & Space distributes light more effectively around the room by utilising the range’s high Light Reflectance Value (LRV). The paint reflects more light off the walls, giving the rooms a brighter and more spacious appearance – making Light & Space perfectly suited for use in the windowless rooms of the nitenite™ hotel.
Diamond Matt Light & Space also has the added benefit of being ten times more durable than standard vinyl silk emulsion. This increased durability means it can with stand heavy duty cleaning without losing its attractive matt finish.
With a high number of visitors using each bedroom, hotel walls are prone to marks, chips and dirt. Offering a tough and washable matt finish, with excellent durability and stain resistance, this paint range is an ideal decorating solution for this market. It increases the decorating maintenance lifecycle and provides long term cost benefits for the hotel.
