Waystone Ltd. turned to the Dulux Trade Specifier Account Team for specification guidance and its renowned quality service package, which included a range of internal and external decorating solutions, expert advice and consultation, site visits and end of project reports.
Dulux Trade Specifier Account Manager, James Walker, provided support and advice to Waystone Ltd during the tender process and was able to recommend a quality assured painting contractor, Image Decorations Ltd of Sheffield, under the industry leading Dulux Trade Contract Partnership Scheme. The scheme involves contractors working to an agreed code of conduct, regular independent on-site auditing and ongoing performance assessments to ensure the highest standards of professionalism at every stage of a painting job.
Alistair McLoughlin, Project Manager at Waystone Ltd, comments: "It is so important that projects are delivered on time, to budget and to the correct specification and workmanship standards; quality contractors are a crucial component in any partnering arrangement. The Contract Partnership scheme enabled us to be confident that our chosen contractor had been given the Dulux Trade stamp of approval."
Paul Harrison, Director of Image Decorations, explained: "We have really benefited from being part of the Contract Partnership scheme; to be recommended by the leading paint manufacturer for a project of this size speaks volumes and ensures our customers that we are a highly trusted and professional company to work with."
Contract Partner Image Decorations used a range of durable Dulux Trade products that will stand up to the high traffic, high impact college environment. Diamond Matt, which is ten times more durable and stain resistant than standard emulsions, was applied throughout the college in all classrooms, corridors, offices and canteen areas. Diamond Satinwood and Gloss were used for all skirting, door frames and window sills. High performance, durable and weather-resistant products from the Weathershield range were used to protect and coat all external steel work, and versatile, rust resistant specialist product, Metalshield, was used on all internal steel work.
