ICI Paints is working alongside support services company MITIE and the CLC Group to deliver a cyclical redecoration programme currently achieving KPI scores of over 98%. The work is being carried out across Warden Housing's 14,000 dwellings and involves both exterior and communal interior decoration.
As part of the agreement, ICI Paints' representatives attend quarterly strategic Core Group Partnering workshops, and area team meetings to implement and deliver the programme. Joint site surveys are also carried out to ensure product specifications are best value, and to sign off benchmark properties. With KPI scores for customer satisfaction and zero defects running at, on average, 99% this commitment is working really well.
In addition, ICI Paints also runs in-house training courses for Warden Housing surveyors, to ensure that they are fully up to speed on the latest product innovations and understand best practice in terms of paint systems and application.
"From this training", said Jeremy Lear, a building surveyor at Warden Housing, "our surveyors can make informed decisions when setting specifications and evaluating workmanship. It's an excellent example of a supplier really integrating into our organisation."
As Dulux Trade Contract Partners both MITIE and the CLC Group also benefit from regular product training and technical advice from the ICI Paints' team. Products from ICI Paints' Dulux Trade and Cuprinol Trade brands are used exclusively across the programme, including the Dulux Trade Weathershield Exterior Gloss system and Cuprinol Trade Cladding & Fencing Opaque Finish. Products are specified on their capacity to provide the optimum durability and extend maintenance cycles.
