Cookie's Dulux Store Drop in
Leading Dulux Trade MSA British Rally Championship lady driver Louise Cook took her distinctly liveried Ford Fiesta to the Medway Dulux Decorator Centre's promotional day on the 16th of May
The Rochester, Kent store, which has recently been voted the best in the east London region, offered a 20% discount across the board for the one-day event, laying on additional entertainment to attract even more customers.
With a free buffet, DJ, raffle, Xbox Kinect competition and the rally car on show, the sun shone on customers and staff alike as they chatted and shopped at the pristine store.
The winner of the Xbox driving game netted a Dulux Trade MSA British Rally Championship rally jacket, while the runner up took home a cuddly Dulux dog. The Alzheimer's Society also benefitted from a "guess the number of beans" competition and additional Dulux Trade freebies meant that nobody went away empty handed.
With the Dulux Trade sponsorship of the British Rally Championship now in it's second year, a second rally jacket raffle prize was one of the most sought-after, but while there was only one winner, everyone took home a championship car sticker and brochure.
New Store Manager Samantha Smith said, "Louise and the BRC's media man, Simon Moss, were fantastic; the day went very well and was enjoyed by customers and staff alike. We're hoping to do this all again sometime this year with more input from Louise, who is local to the store and has said she would be happy to help."
