Dulux Trade launches Weathershield Applier Guide
Dulux Trade has made selecting exterior coatings even easier, following the launch of its new Weathershield Applier Guide. Specifically designed for professional decorators, the guide features at-a-glance advice on choosing the most appropriate coatings for the job and top tips on achieving the perfect finish.
The new literature comprises product information for the entire Weathershield portfolio, including details of coverage, touch-dry and re-coating times, and the recommended application method. Appliers will also find further information on the Weathershield Exterior Gloss System (WEGS), which is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2010, and details of the 420 contemporary and classic shades, and 156 complementary trim colours available within the range.
"The exterior of a building can be exposed to a complex range of elements, so tailoring the right solution for the job is a key challenge for appliers," said Stephanie Brown, Dulux Trade Weathershield Brand Manager. "With this in mind, we've developed the new Weathershield booklet to be an informative, easy to use tool that makes it simpler to select the best possible coating for the job.
"As well as featuring tips and advice on popular products including WEGS and Smooth Masonry Paint, there's guidance on when our more specialist solutions such as Weathershield Stabilising Primer and Weathershield Fungicidal Wash should be used. Ultimately, this new booklet enables appliers to tackle projects with the utmost confidence and deliver the best results for customers."
