An aluminium pigmented primer for use on all types of wood and aged creosoted or bitumen coated surfaces. Up to 17m² per litre on most surfaces

- After 16-24 hours. Allow 24 hours between coats for aged creosoted or bitumen coated surfaces.
- Thinning:
- This product should not be thinned.
Key benefits
- Can be used both inside and out on resinous timber or surfaces that are liable to bleed through a newly applied paint system, e.g., aged creosote or bitumen.
- An ideal primer for use on fire damaged wood after thorough washing down.
System information
To get the best results make sure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry.
After suitable surface preparation, apply 1 or 2 coats of the Aluminium Wood Primer. Apply 2 coats over highly resinous wood or when using over aged creosote or bitumen, allowing 24 hours between coats.
After use, remove as much paint as possible from brushes before cleaning with white spirit.
